Sunita
My progress for the past week included experimenting and finding different materials that could work for the style of rood I want on my traditional house. Also thinking about how I want to place my half house on the wall.

Josie
My progress is somewhat slowing to a halt.
Lettering: My Materials are there but I wont get the MDF for the lettering until sometime this week and from there it will go to the laser cutters.

Circles: Unfortunately I cant use Perspex so I’m going to use acetate and cut the circles out with a compass Blade.

Warwick
I have researched the different types of artificial grass to use as a base for my Irrigation Coffee table. Josie informed me that Bunnings had fake grass sold by the metre so I went on their website and looked at the different types available. Its roughly $30/m for the base grade stuff so I might need a couple of metres. I need to go in and check it out.

Myself
My progress so far is I have worked out what the best solutions are and I have worked out how it is going to be displayed. Due to being on holidays i couldn't purchase light bulbs and experiment due to moving around and spare time. So below is the progress I have made in how my exhibit is going to look. Here is an illustration with further details below.

PART 2 - 10 mins

Blog Each student post feedback on all other students in your blog

I have a red chair already at home. I can get the graphics printed by Damo in maybe a large sticker. I will have to think about shiny or mat textures. I would like to have a plinth to display my portfolio on and my business card. I would like to keep it fresh and modern.

Video Commentary
Above is a video I found on helpful tips on cheap decorating elements for your living room. Sometimes modern can be dull in character so I thought maybe I could spice it up with some of these tips. Simply adding some bright colored books beside the chair  for colour and for customers use while waiting, a plant for a splash of green, maybe even a rug to make it more cozy, comfortable and personal.

My materials

Here are some materials I have purchased.

About 25 light bulbs in total of different shapes, sizes and some clear and some pearl. I need another 50 or so though. But I thought I would stick with these and experiment with the different globes together. Seeing if they match or whether all the same will be better.

I purchased a range of wires to test out which ones are more effective. I found that the thinnest craft wire was more effective and easier to bend and secure the globe. The thicker wires were harder to bend. I also tried string which looked better but was more delicate and fragile.
